In my minimalist works, I use hard cards to create precise white lines with acrylic or oil paint. These lines serve as a central element, symbolizing the shape of doors while remaining open to interpretation. Whether perceived as a doorway or something entirely different, the ambiguity allows the viewer to bring their own experiences and emotions into the work.
This intentional simplicity encourages introspection and invites the audience to explore their personal connection to the idea of thresholds—both physical and metaphorical. By focusing on these clean, deliberate lines, I aim to offer a space for reflection, transformation, and infinite possibility.
